When Antti Autti isn’t listening to Turbonegro, Bowie, Mötley Crüe, or drinking straight scotch, he’s steadily earning the title of one of the best snowboarders in the world. Ever since Antti’s superb performance in the 2005 X-Games, the world of snowboarding hasn’t been the same. As the first non-American to take the gold in the Winter X-Games, Antti incited the “1080 Revolution,” setting the bar to a new level in the halfpipe competition. 2008 has been pretty good to him as well; in the Winter X Games XII he finished 3rd in Best Trick Showdown, 7th in Snowboard Superpipe, and 4th in Snowboard Slopestyle. Most recently he won the 2008 Toyota Big Air Japan, barely inching out his fellow Flow teammate Risto Mattila.
