Say shalom to Avi Luzia, one of the Dew Action Sports Tours most impressive imports. The 27-year-old skate park competitor from Tel Aviv, Israel impresses judges, industry heads and fellow skaters with his smooth style, excellent board control and ability to tackle anything on a park course. Quarter pipe, pyramid, handrails- you name it- Avi rips it and rocks it.

His talents have been recognized at contests around the world, including the 2004 Gravity Games where Luzia placed fifth, putting his name on the short-list of the worlds top skaters. Avis passion for skateboarding is inspiring. At the age of 22, following his dream to skateboard professionally, Luzia picked up his stuff and moved halfway around the world to Southern California. In SoCal, skateboardings birthplace and home to the most experienced skaters, Luzia flourished and his skateboard learning curve became exponential. He honed his skills and challenged himself harder than ever before.

Avi currently resides in Tel Aviv and lives a transcontinental life, traveling back and forth between the US and Israel for skate contests and projects. The Dew Action Sports Tour is one of Luzias first major contests in the United States. Though he has been competing for years in Europe and Israel, his ability is still relatively unknown in America.
