East Coast native Brandon Reis spends summers in his New Hampshire hometown and bluebird winters on the West Coast.
He was hooked on the sport from the moment he started snowboarding at 10 years old. He went to high school at Waterville Valley Academy so he could train between classes. During this time he developed his skills and refined his style.
From there, Reis went on to win the Waterville stop of the Peanut Butter and Rail Jam Tour in 2007, and edged out best friend and fellow Peterborough, NH-native Sam Hulbert for the title. Deemed a young rider to watch by the Winter Dew Tour judges, Reis has claimed a pair of sixth-place showings over the course of two years, and he closed out the inaugural 2008-09 season in fourth place overall.
A self-proclaimed rail specialist, Reis can also spin with the best of them. He got his first X Games invite in 2010 and finished 12th place overall in slopestyle.
