Following in the footsteps of Chaz Ortiz, Timmy Knuth and Alec Majerus, Brendon earned his rite of passage to the pro ranks after winning the Gatorade Free Flow Tour's skate street division in the summer of 2011. Before his victory, the SoCal native had appeared in every Gatorade Free Flow Tour final since 2009.
Brendon started skating at the age of 3 and has been on a board ever since. He enjoys skating the streets of downtown San Diego and downtown Los Angeles, but in recent years has really made a name for himself at the amateur level. In July of 2011, before his Gatorade Free Flow Tour championship, he took home a silver medal after being invited to compete in an amateur street contest at X Games.
Brendon made his pro debut on October 13, 2011 at the Dew Tour Championships. He finished 6th in skateboard street semi-finals, advancing him to his first-ever Dew Tour final.
