Known for his ability to boost to heights beyond most competitors his own age, Broc Waring first picked up a snowboard at the age of seven during a family vacation to Northstar-at-Tahoe. However, it wasn’t until two years later, when his family moved to Colorado, that Waring took up snowboarding full time.
Thanks in a large part to his skateboarding skills, Waring began competing at the age of 10, quickly rising through the ranks in both the park and the pipe.
After joining the US Snowboarding rookie team in 2008, Waring proved that he was an up-and-comer to be on the lookout for, claiming second at the Rev Tour’s stop in Minnesota en route to an impressive eighth-place showing at the Burton US Open that same year.
Influenced by the smooth and original style of Danny Kass, Waring’s natural talent and ability to go big in – and on – whatever he’s riding will continue to push the young rider to new heights.
