Dennis Enarson started racing BMX at the age of eight and hasn’t looked back since.
A double threat in both park and dirt, Enarson’s debut as a pro came in 2007, when he took third-place honors in park at his first Dew Tour event, following up the performance with his first-ever event title -- a win in dirt at the third stop in Portland, Oregon, Enarson finished the ‘07 Dew Tour circuit in third place in dirt and sixth place in the year-end park standings. He also earned an invite to the ‘07 X Games, where he finished ninth.
Enarson continued his success in ‘08, winning the PlayStation Pro’s dirt contest and closing out the year in third overall in the dirt standings and 10th in the park ranks. Although he was unable to complete the final event of 2009 in both events due to lacerating his liver midway through the dirt final, the teen was still able to finish top 10 overall in both disciplines once again, taking fourth in dirt and sixth in park.
Add to that a third-place showing at the ’09 Simpel Session and a second place at the 2010 Extreme Thing dirt contest, and it’s clear that Enarson isn’t lacking talent in either park or dirt.
