Jorge Jovel is a man who likes to keep his mind and his body busy. When Jorge is not training at Woodward for BMX vert, he is studying design at South Hills School of Business and Technology. Many injuries have caused him to consider an alternate career to fall back on, or at least continue while riding his bike. Jorge found BMX in his hometown of the Bronx, NY and began riding early in Mullaly park. In the BMX world he is credited with styles and moves that involve being inverted on vert. These skills have allowed him to follow his dream of traveling the world riding his bike. He has been able to pull off top 15 finishes at the Dew Tour from 2007-2011 and will look to keep improving in the future. Whether he is learning new graphic design techniques, building camera dollys, auditioning for "America's got talentor learning to play the piano, Jorge keeps himself busy and is always trying to improve. Some riders spend all there time on their bike, Jorge is an example of someone who has expanded his horizons while still keeping his passion alive learning new ways to get inverted.
