Freeski Big Air Competition Gallery
The Toyota Tricktopsy Big Air Presented by realPlayer on the final feature of the slopestyle course closed out the 2009-10 Winter Dew Tour season. Top freeski athletes like Bobby Brown, Jossi Wells, Colby West and Ian Cosco threw out their best tricks during the 30-minute jam session, and Gus Kenworthy came out as the winner with his cork 900 nose grab to true tail grab. Jossi Wells
Not too many kids even get in a helicopter at the age of nine, but that is what Jossi Wells did. And not just for a quick ride, he was dropped off the top of the mountain, skied down in front of judges and was crowned the victor of the New Zealand Rip Curl Heli challenge.
Since then he has continued to light the ski world on fire. 2007 saw Jossi on podiums in nearly all the major events, the youngest skier at Winter X Games and winning the European Open Superpipe against the deepest field ever. In 2008, Jossi added a podium at the biggest event of the season, the X Games, and continued his domination at every other event he attended. At just 17 the future of the sport is happening now and it has a name - Jossi Wells.

As the sun sets on Saturday here in Ogden, Utah, another Superpipe competition is in the books. The sun was shining, the birds were chirping and the competitors were firing today. An early morning start, a crisp halfpipe and the live tv cameras rolling, today was a good day for a pipe comp.
