Justin Brayton has been racing professionally for the past seven years. He began his motocross career in Arenacross at the age of 18, and quickly demonstrated his potential by becoming the Arenacross Series’ Rookie of the Year in the 2002-2003 season. In 2003-2004, he lived up to his potential by securing fourth overall. In the 2004-2005 season, he was slated to compete for the championship, but incurred an injury that had him sitting out virtually all of 2005.

In 2006, he secured a ride with a Supercross team and competed in the Supercross Lites class. This was his first full year riding Supercross. He received 12th overall, increasing his performances throughout the season, and ending the season with a ninth in the East/West shootout (Top twenty riders from both coasts race together).

In 2008 and 2009 Brayton then moved onto the MDK/KTM Team. Brayton began racing in the lites class and then at the end of the 2009 lites season he moved into the 450 class for motocross. He progressed through the season and ended up seventh overall for the series. The highlight of his season was a moto WIN at Steel City.

During the winter of 2009 Brayton competed and won the Bercy Supercross and was crowned the "King of Bercy"!

In 2010, Brayton joined the Muscle Milk/Toyota Team after the best year of his career with the victories in Steel City and Bercy, as well as winning the Genova Supercross in Italy and a silver medal at X Games 15 in Moto X. He finished 12th overall in points for the Lucas Oil Motocross Championship.

In 2011, Justin finished strong in the 450 class, earning himself 7th overall in points for the Lucas Oil Motocross Championships and 9th overall for the Supercross Championship.
