This 31-year-old engineering school drop out lives in the UK, but calls Newcastle, Australia his hometown. Matt chose to move to Europe so he could ride vert with more riders and compete in more events. He went to work immediately, filming demos and placing in competitions. Four years later, he still hasnt looked back. He is an accomplished rider proving that no vert competition is too tough for him. He placed 4th in the 2006 LG Action Sports World Tour in Amsterdam, 1st in the 2005 Soul Bowl in England, and took gold in the 2003 Asian X Games. Overall, Matt has been riding for about 20 years and is well respected by his fellow riders.
