Molly Aguirre is one of snowboarding’s hottest young riders. Born in Minnesota, she now lives, rides and trains in Mammoth, CA. Molly rides superpipe, rails, slopestyle and is constantly pushing her riding to new levels. Her favorite riding partner is her brother and fellow pro, Mason Aguirre.
For the Aguirre family, snowboarding was looked at as something fun the whole family could participate in. When Molly began her senior year in high school and started applying to college’s, her dad asked her if she wanted to continue snowboarding at a more progressive level. Molly never had never considered going pro, but with her family’s support, her dad sold his business in Minnesota and moved them to Mammoth. He never put pressure on Molly to become pro, but let her choose where she wanted her life to lead. He obviously saw the talent Molly had and it turned out to be a successful move for the entire family!
Molly has made a name for herself on the women’s superpipe scene as a fearless rider who stomps back-to-back 720s. Although she’s known mostly for her ability in the pipe, she is also skilled on rails and slopestyle.
When she isn’t on the mountain or training Molly still enjoys an active lifestyle. She is a huge golf fan and also loves the beach, cooking, warm coffee drinks with friends and most importantly, spending time with her family.
