In 2008, Izzi finished 5th in season points in the Lucas Oil Motocross 250 Class Championship and earned himself the title of AMA Rookie of the Year.

 

Riding for Star Valli Yamaha in 2012, Izzi was looking like one of the most improved riders during the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross season at the start of the year. He was plagued by crashes during several of the motos and missed several races due to injury, but finished the year 12th in 450MX points.

 

Izzi transitioned to the Rockstar Suzuki team in 2013, where he will ride a 250 during the supercross season and a 450 outdoors.

 

Nico was born on July 17, 1990.
