Nyjah Huston

In 2006 at just 11 years old, Nyjah who started skating at 5 years old, was the youngest athlete to ever compete at X. It's always easy to spot the dreadlocked 'pint-sized powerhouse' he eats, sleeps and breathes skateboarding and it shows. At Goofy vs Regular in October 2006, he was named MVP for his Team Goofy over seasoned pros Greg Lutzka and Ronnie Creager. Nyjah has become a media star, with numerous video parts to his name, including a part in the 2007 Element video. He now skates for the Element Green Team. Seemingly unfazed by the current pro skate events, Nyjah won the Tampa AM and AM Getting Paid contests. He placed second in both the Louisville and Denver Dew Action Sports Tours this year.

Nyjah's father Adeyemi, his constant companion on the road, is a skateboarder himself and Nyjah looked up to him, as well as his brothers, Jahmai, 17, and Ahbi, 15. He has a younger brother Kiade, age 11, and also has a younger sister, Isha, age 9, they all live with their parents, Adeyemi and Kelle Huston, outside the central California city of Davis.
