Rusty grew up playing hockey and riding in amateur motocross events in a small town in Canada. Around 13-years old, Rusty discovered wakeboarding with his older brothers at a local lake and has been hooked on it ever since. Since turning pro in 2003, the “Bone-Crusher” has won countless contests and solidified his place in wakeboard history when he became the first rider to ever land a 1080 in a contest. Rusty is a technically sound rider that combines an un-matched desire to win with consistent riding ability, making him a shoe-in for a spot on the contest podium.
