Scotty Pike is from Hailey, Idaho, a town of just over 7,000 people, but the small-town guy has a passion for big-time tricks. He’s just shy of landing back-to-back 10s in the pipe – a feat only few have mastered. With a well of raw talent on tap, Pike will be a name to look out for in years to come.
Competing against a stacked halfpipe roster, an 18-year-old Pike captured the 2007 USASA National Championship in the junior men’s division. Other accomplishments include fifth place at the Mt. Hood stop of the ’08 Rev Tour and fifth at the final stop of the 2009-10 Winter Dew Tour, a career-best. He also finished 15th at the 2010 US Open.
