Simon lit the World on Fire in just his first year of competitive skiing making the 2003 X-Games and finishing a respectable eighth. From there he went on to win the Whistler Invitation Superhit, also taking fourth place at the US Open.
His sudden rise to stardom landed him in major segments of all the top ski movies on the market. Fast forward to 2004 and Simon dominated. He won X Games Gold and instantly was considered the best pipe rider in the World, repeating the feat again in 2005. Domestically and over seas Simon is a superstar.
Simon’s domination as a Newschool skier continues each year with more victories and awards than any other halfpipe skier in the world. When he is not competing, he is filming for all the ski production companies as the star of each film. Simon is unique that he can take his style from the rails of downtown Portland to the backcountry of Switzerland and always be considered the best at whatever is thrown at him or better yet what he decides to throw himself off.
