Become a Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finalist with the Virtual Stop Video Contest

The Gatorade Free Flow Tour is teaming up with Transworld to give three BMX winners a spot in the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals, taking place Sept. 16-19 in Salt Lake City.

For the second year in a row, the Gatorade Free Flow Tour and Ride BMX are providing talented up-and-coming am BMX riders with an alternative way to earn a spot in the Finals. The Virtual Stop Video Contest will give up to three BMX riders (two park and one dirt) wildcard entry into the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals.

Running now through August 31, the Virtual Stop Video Contest will accept videos from amateur BMX park and dirt riders who are between the ages of 13 and 21, showcasing their own talent. Each video submitted in the contest must be an original creation, featuring footage of them doing their best riding, and must be under two minutes in length.

Just like last year, judging for the Virtual Stop Video Contest will take part in two phases. During phase one, going on right now, fans can vote for their favorite videos. Once the contest closes at the end of the month, a panel of judges from Alli and Transworld will sift through all the videos submitted, evaluating them based on technical ability, consistency, course usage and other factors.

Just like any of the regular contests on the 2010 Gatorade Free Flow Tour, the Virtual Stop Video Contest will be won by the BMXers who display the most talent in their riding, and the three that are chosen will get to ride in the Finals next month.
