Ben Townley Injured After Crash at MX Nationals

Ben Townley was recently injured after a crash in practice for Australia's national motocross championships, leaving it questionable if he'll be ready to race at Hangtown for TwoTwo Motorsports. According to a press release put out by his team, "Ben Townley is recovering at Brisbane Private Hospital following successful surgery on a femoral head-associated acetabular rim fracture, sustained during a fall at Round 2 of the Monster Energy MX Nationals at Coonabarabran on the weekend." Initial doctor reports following the surgery estimate he could be back on a bike in four months. Check out the full press release here.
