Ken Roczen Will Race a 350 this Weekend at Daytona Supercross

Like his West Coast counterpart Eli Tomac, Ken Roczen will take advantage of the region's two-month break to test his mettle against the best riders the 450SX Class has to offer. The Red Bull KTM rider and current 250 West points leader will mount a KTM 350 this Saturday at Daytona, the only race this season he plans to enter in the 450 Class. The news was confirmed in a press release from the team.

Roczen made his 2012 season debut in the 450 Class at Seattle last April, making a strong first impression with a 2nd place finish aboard his 350. The young German also had a pair of top-ten finishes on the bike during the 2011 season.

Two races into his four-week stint on the 450 bike, Tomac's best finish is only 7th. Competing against one of the deepest fields in recent memory, everyone will be looking forward to finding out if either of the 250 West title contenders can crack the podium this weekend.
