When you go to the home park of a past overall Gatorade Free Flow Tour winner like Chaz Ortiz, you know you're going to see some good skating. But what went down at Warp Skatepark on June 20 was one of the most intense contests yet this year.
Warp's Miles Canavello was supposed to be on a plane to California, and was even ready to cheer, help out, and take photos rather than skate. But, he couldn't help himself, and ended up entering the contest at the last minute. After he destroyed Prelims and Semis, he decided he had to stay. And it's a good thing he did, as he came out on top, narrowly beating out Jack Olson who came up from Minneapolis. Ryan Buss rounded out the top three. Full re-cap and photos coming soon.
