There's always something to be said for hard work. Andy epitomizes that phrase and has the victory bling to show for it. Andy Mac is skateboarding's workhorse. He skates all the contests, goes to countless demos, and has appeared on dozens of TV shows. Andy is also owner of the "Andymac" brand, and he has his own line of shoes and skateboards. (The brand's logo is trademark move, the frontside benihanna.) You can find his signature line of products everywhere.

Another new endeavor is his signature toy out now called the "Flybar," it's a pogo-type machine that'll give you over 4 ft of air. Many may call this spreading oneself too thin, but not for Andy. In his spare time, he's been helping out the Make a Wish Foundation. Don't really know how you could have any spare time with such a crazy schedule, but MacDonald has found a way to make it happen.

Even with fourteen X games medals, 8 consecutive World Cup championship titles and a host of others in his trophy closet, the thirty something MacDonald isn't going anywhere soon. Last year, Andy had one of his best years ever, taking home a 1st in Vert at the 2004 Ramps and Amps in NYC and a 1st in Vert and the 2004 Globe World Cup Championships in Dortmund, Germany. A regular on the podium, he placed in the top five in every contest he entered in 2004. Andy's also the only skater in the World Cup to compete in both vert and street.

In addition to being one of the highest profile skateboarders in the world, Andy is also one of the most recognized athletes in the action sports world. He's appeared on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Craig Kilborn, the Best Damn Sports Show and others. Few athlete's are fortunate enough to transcend his or her sport but it seems as though Andy is on his way. He's done so many interesting things that he wrote a book, "Dropping in with Andy Mac, the Life of a Pro Skateboarder." Did we mention that he's also into snowboarding, wakeboarding and his trampoline?
