Definitely a charmer, Colby, when he’s not tearing up the world’s finest slopes and superpipes, filming for upcoming edits, or jogging through the contest circuit, likes to laugh. Fluent in a variety of accents and impersonations, Colby loves a camera; watching an interview with the 22-year-old as he hams it up is almost as entertaining as watching any of his freeski footage.

If you weren't on the slopes, what would be an ideal day?
-Hanging out generally doing nothing.

Who/what has had the biggest influence on your life?
-Probably the boys that I ski with every day. TJ, Pete, Luke, Simon, Stack.

In your next life, what will you do?
-I would be a Fighter Pilot.
What type of car do you drive?
-Subaru WRX, Honda CBR 600RR, Mini Cooper

You're deserted on an island, who/what would you bring with you?
I would bring Luke Van Valin with me. And lots of water.

Who do you most admire in your sport? Why?
-Jossi Wells. He has an incredible air awareness and I'm pretty sure he can do whatever trick he sees or thinks of.

What animal would you most like to have as a pet?
-Probably a Dog, or a Lion if I knew it wouldn't have the urge to kill me.

How do you stay fit during the "off" season?
-Dirtbike, Frisbee, soccer, all kinds of stuff. I ski in NZ in the off season mostly.

If you could hang with any celebrity, who would it be and why?
-Simon Dumont, cuz I hear he is cool in person.
