Switzerland’s Freeskiing wonder kid, Elias Ambuhl has had a pretty incredible season and he’s not even eighteen yet. After getting 1st at the Austrian Open, 3rd at the Newschool Picknick, 2nd at Freestyle.ch and 3rd at the Barcelona Snow Show, he broke on the Dew Tour coming all the way through the Qualifiers in Breckenridge. Winning both the Qualifiers and the Prelims, he finished fifth in the Finals. He made the finals once again in Snowbasin and narrowly missed the finals in Mount Snow. Elias cracked the top ten in the final tour rankings, landing in an extremely respectable eighth place.

Freeski Slopestyle Finals Highlights, Toyota Championship 2010, Mount Snow
By: Mike Rogge - The East Coast loves the Winter Dew Tour. We also love great skiing and if one thing can be said about today’s skiing slopestyle finals it would be that Bobby Brown threw down some great skiing at the Toyota Championships here at Mount Snow in Vermont. Today also made it very clear that Bobby Brown has officially become the new face of skiing.
By Shay Williams Freeskier Magazine - Just a few short days after the X Games concluded, the best in slopestyle and pipe have made their way out East to Mt. Snow for the third and final stop of the Winter Dew Tour. After a day o’ practice and a quick training session this morning, it was on for the slopestyle men. In the end, it was none other than Sammy Carlson, who had to qualify after losing some esoteric tie-breaker between Bobby Brown (who is pre-qualified for tomorrow’ finals. Both are tied for 3rd in Dew Cup points).
By: Colin Bane - After a Slopestyle win at the Totino’s Open at Breckenridge and a 2nd place finish at the Wendy’s Invitational at Snowbasin, Norwegian freeskier Andreas Hatveit is headed into the Toyota Championships at Mount Snow tied in the points race with Tom Wallisch.
It’s Hatveit’s first year on the Dew Tour, so we caught up with him to learn more about where he’s coming from (and to get the dirt on the private terrain park he has stashed away back home in Norway).
