Women's Snowboard Slopestyle Finals Highlights, Toyota Championship 2010, Mount Snow
By: Kelli Redes - The sun was shining, the temperature a little warmer (finally in the 20s), and the freshly maintained course was ready to be attacked by the female snowboarders. All were hungry for their chance at not only the Toyota Championship, but also for the overall Dew Tour Cup. With Spencer O’Brien, Jamie Anderson and Jenny Jones all in close contention for the Cup, and all these ladies riding fantastically, it was anyone’s title to claim.

After a little balk at the beginning of the competition the girls pulled it together and threw down to make the finals and set the stage for what will be one of the closest of the Dew Cup Races. Spencer O’Brien already pre-qualified had the day off but her other Dew Cup Race comrades Jamie Anderson and Jenny Jones battled the slope course to secure their place in the finals and set up a showdown on Friday afternoon to crown the Dew Cup Champion.

By: Nick Lipton - When Dew Tour arrives in Vermont one contest may buzz above all the rest, Female Slopestyle. Injury free and star studded the Female Slope Championship has come down to a do-or-die winner take all event. Spencer O’Brien and Jamie Anderson are tied in the points standing but back to back Winter X gold medalist Jenny Jones sits just five points behind the two. In my opinion, you might as well call it a three-way tie.

By: Nick Lipton - It took back to back to back 540s, but Spencer O’Brien is back on top after a big Wendy’s Invitational win in Slopestyle. Spencer caught a break today by landing both of her runs in a Final plagued with falls.
By: Nick Lipton - After her big win in Breck’ pre-qualified Slopestyle slayer Jamie Anderson watched as 12 of her friends competed for a spot in the Slopestyle Final. Between runs Jamie casually dropped for a bit of practice, perfecting the run she hopes will give her back-to-back Dew Tour wins. With Jamie looming and the Final just two days away, the intensity finally increased in girl world. After an hour of competition Jenny Jones sat on top, and way on top. Jenny blew away her competition by scoring a 91.00, 12 points higher than anyone else.
