Today at Windell’s marked the second of three Gatorade Free Flow BMX Dirt contests on the 2010 summer calendar. Riders came from all over the West Coast hoping to win themselves a slot in the Salt Lake City Finals.

Once the course was prepped to shred, riders were dropped and let loose on the big four-jump line. Third place went to Jason Lopez who competed in the 2009 GFFT BMX park finals in SLC. Jason’s highest-scored run of the day consisted of a barspin to double whip, then closing out with a barspin. Second place went to Brian Miller, whose best run had a 360 followed up with a back flip. First place and the custom-made Gatorade bottle trophy were both claimed by another GFFT alum from 2008, Houston Harmsen. Houston’s choice run of the day started out with boosty stylish airs, wrapped up with a 360 backed up by a flip whip on the last two kickers.
Congrats to Jason, Brian, and Houston! All three will be making their way to Salt Lake City, UT in September to compete against the rest of the GFFT dirt finalists on the Dew Tour’s Pro Dirt Course.
