When the Big Boys went out, the track was still considerably wet from all the rain the night before. All the jump faces had multiple ruts, and the corners had quite a bit of slop in them.
Ryan Dungey set the fastest time of the first session with a 2:15.282, besting Broc Tickle's 2:15.362. The track sped up a whole lot after they did a bit of track maintenance, and Dungey set the fastest time once again with a 2:08.293. Mike Alessi had the second fastest with a 2:08.942.
BTO Suzuki rider Jimmy Albertson finished out the session third-fastest with a 2:09.606. Brayton, Tickle, Rattray, Chisolm, Short, Weimer and Lemoine rounded out the top ten.
