Recap
Mike Alessi takes the holeshot, with Phil Nicoletti in second and Ryan Dungey in third. Local boy Robby Marshall starts the moto in fourth. Meanwhile Tyla Rattray, Justin Brayton, Kyle Regal, Michael Byrne and a few others go down in the first turn.
On lap two, Dungey gets by Nicoletti for second and is going after Alessi. Three laps later, Tommy Hahn makes the pass on Nicoletti for third position.
At the halfway point of the moto, Dungey makes his way past Alessi and has a clear track in front of him. The running order with 13 minutes plus two laps to go is Dungey, Alessi, Hahn, Marshall, Short, Nicoletti, Tickle, Millsaps, Grant and Brown.
Local hero John Dowd moves up to tenth position with 6 minutes and 2 laps to go.
Dungey takes the moto win followed by Alessi and Hahn.

Recap
The holeshot goes to the rookie Zach Bell in his pro debut! Marvin Musquin starts 2nd, Eli Tomac 3rd, Blake Baggett 4th. Wil Hahn and Mcdade go down in the second corner, but get back up and running. There were two separate pileups in the first turn that set Ryan Sipes, Justin Barcia, Wil Hahn, Jason Anderson and many others back.
On lap two, Eli Tomac makes his way around Marvin Musquin for second place. Zach Bell goes down after being passed by Eli Tomac and ends up pulling out of the moto.
With ten minutes plus two to go, Barcia has made his way up to the tenth position.
With two laps to go, the top three is rather stagnant besides Tomac absolutely checking out with one of his best rides of the year.
Eli Tomac takes the moto win, with Marvin Musquin in second and Blake Baggett in third.
