Recap
Michael Byrne takes the holeshot, but he's got Jake Weimer, Mike Alessi, Broc Tickle, Andrew Short and Ryan Dungey in tow. As they cross the finish line for the first time, it's Alessi with the lead, followed by Weimer, Regal, Byrne, Dungey, Short, Hahn, Tickle and Rattray.
One lap later, Dungey gets by Regal and into 3rd. Then on lap 3, Dungey makes his way around Weimer for 2nd and sets his sights on the leader, Alessi.
Dungey is all over Alessi for the lead on lap 5, and goes on to make the pass in the sand whoops one lap later. On lap 7, Alessi has his hands full trying to hold off Weimer for 2nd. Weimer gets around Alessi and takes back control of 2nd.
With 10 minutes to go, the running order is Dungey, Weimer, Alessi, Short, Rattray, Brayton, Hahn, Grant, Byrne, Albertson, Smith, Sipes. Dungey ends up with another distant win, with Weimer and Alessi following in 2nd and 3rd.

250 Moto 1
Justin Barcia holeshots, with Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac, Kyle Peters, Wil Hahn, Justin Bogle, Marvin Musquin, and then Blake Baggett trailing. The running order remains the same at the end of lap two, except Baggett has gotten by Musquin for 7th.
Roczen and Tomac sit 1 second back of Barcia on lap three, in a very tight race. Baggett gets by Bogle for 5th on that lap, and then passes Anderson for 4th one lap later.
Justin Barcia still leads, and has a two-second margin over Roczen and Tomac. Baggett is in fourth about 9 seconds back, but is setting a blazing pace.
At the halfway mark, Tomac is all over Roczen for 2nd. Tomac, however, ends up losing 3rd to Blake Baggett on lap nine. At this point, you could throw a blanket over the top 4, but lapped riders started becoming troublesome!
On the next lap, Baggett moves into 2nd and is all over Barcia, setting up an exciting battle for the lead. Baggett makes the pass with 2 minutes + 2 laps to go and quickly raced out to a 5+ second lead.
Eli Tomac gets by Roczen for 3rd with 2 laps to go. Baggett, meanwhile, extends his lead and takes the win over Barcia, Tomac, and Roczen in amazing come-from-behind fasion.
