Recap

Mike Alessi takes the holeshot, with Josh Grant, Justin Brayton, Ryan Dungey and Kyle Regal all right there behind him. They round the first lap with Alessi leading, and Grant, Weimer, Dungey and Short rounding out the top five.

As they cross the line on Lap Two, Alessi is about 4 seconds out on Dungey. Later that lap, Josh Grant, riding in 2nd at the time, goes down and gets back up in dead last. After two more laps, Dungey is only about a second off Alessi.

With 10 minutes plus 2 laps to go, Alessi still has Dungey at bay, but by a mere half-second. Weimer sits third.

Ryan Dungey tips over going after the lead, making it's Alessi's race to lose as he held a 6+ second lead with 4 minutes and 2 laps left in the moto

Dungey catches back up to the leader, but as they take the white flag, Alessi is still leading. Alessi holds off Dungey, taking the win. Dungey finishes 2nd, Weimer third in the best race of the year!

Recap

Marvin Musquin takes the holeshot. Blake Baggett with a rare great start is second, with Wharton, Barcia, Hahn and Bogle running behind.

After Lap One, it's Musquin, Barcia, Tomac and Baggett. Musquin opens up a 2-second lead over the combo of Baggett and Tomac, who are linked at the hip.

Following a mistake, Baggett slipped back to sixth on Lap Four, being passed by Roczen and Hahn. Baggett gets back around Hahn later that lap though.

Halfway through the moto, the running order is Musquin, Barcia, Tomac, Roczen, Bagett, Hahn, Sipes.

With 8 minutes to go on the countdown clock, both Musquin and Barcia set their fastest laps as they battle for the lead. Barcia and Musquin go side-by-side up Horsepower Hill, and Barcia manages to takes the lead. Soon after, Tomac goes to work on Musquin and he takes second place.

The 2 lap board comes out, and it's a pair of Hondas running 1st and 2nd, and a pair of KTMs 3rd and 4th. Baggett has a tip over, letting Wilbur by for 5th.

Barcia goes on to take the win, with his teammate in 2nd and the Frenchman Musquin finishing off a strong ride in the top 3.
