Ryan Dungey gets the holeshot, with Mike Alessi 2nd, Tommy Hahn 3rd, and Andrew Short, Broc Tickle and Michael Byrne all right there. Dugney takes the first lap, leading Alessi, Short and Hahn
By the halfway point of the moto, Dungey opened up a 9 second lead on Alessi. Short is still third, with Hahn and Tickle battling for 4th, and Josh Grant in 6th.
Tickle gets by Hahn for 4th with 10 minutes left on the board, while Jake Weimer gains ground on Grant for 6th. About 6 minutes later, both Grant and Weimer make it by Hahn and are catching Tickle. The battle between Grant and Weimer would get intense with only a handful of laps left. Weimer made the pass on Grant with 2 to go, and Grant couldn't answer back.
Dungey takes the commanding win to claim the overall. Alessi finishes 2nd, Andrew Short 3rd.

Recap
Justin Barcia grabs the holeshot with Justin Bogle and Blake Baggett right behind. As the first lap goes into the books, it's Barcia in the lead, Bogle in 2nd, and Baggett 3rd, with Marvin Musquin, Eli Tomac and Ryan Sipes behind.
At the end of the next lap, Baggett gets around Bogle for 2nd. Bogle gets eaten up on Lap Three, going from 2nd to 5th in one lap.
Ken Roczen and Wil Hahn are both coming through the pack, sitting in 9th and 10th close to the halfway point. As the race hits the midway mark, Tomac is catching Musquin - let's call it a high speed pursuit.
With 5 minutes plus 2 laps to go, Barcia has some serious heat from Baggett, and Musquin is in trouble with Tomac right there on him. Tomac gets Musquin about three minutes later.
With just a minute left on the countdown clock, Baggett gets Barcia and takes the lead. He'd go on to take the win, with the GEICO Honda boys taking 2nd and 3rd in the moto. The 1-2 finish would give Barcia the overall victory.
