A crash in the first moto at Glen Helen may keep Christian Craig sidelined for awhile. During the MAVTV broadcast, Georgia Lindsay reported that GEICO Honda is concerned that Craig may have fractured his tibia and fibula.
Although results won't be immediately known, Craig will obviously not line up for Moto 2.
Craig was one of the surprise stories of the 2015 season when he came out of retirement to ride for GEICO Honda at Round 3 (Thunder Valley) and finished fifth. He ended the year 12th in 250MX points and entered this season with heightened expectations.
Craig landed on teammate Jordon Smith during his first moto crash. According to Georgia Lindsay, he is questionable for today's second moto. [UPDATE: Smith is riding Moto 2.]
