Toronto BMX Jam 2010 Recap
The Winter Dew Tour may be over and the Champions crowned but the competition season is still in full swing as many of the star Dew Tour athletes made their way to Tignes, France to compete in X-Games Europe.
In the Freeski Superpipe competition, the French tandem that took Gold and Bronze at the X-Games in Aspen earlier this year stepped it up on the home turf to capture Gold and Silver this time around. Kevin Rolland was Mr. Consistent scoring a 95 on his first run and a 95.66 on his final run to edge out fellow countryman Xavier Bertoni who’s 92 solidified the Silver.

Other Dew Tour notables were the UK’s Paul Luc Ronchetti, Australia’s Renton Millar, San Diego’s Alex Perelson and Tampa’s Anthony Furlong rounding out the top ten.

This year’s course was tighter than years past, but once the pros hit the plywood, the size of the course became irrelevant. The setup was built around a wall of quarterpipes, a step-up, step-down, street spine, a sub rail, and a makeshift handrail. And every inch of the place got worked by the end of the weekend.
