The weather forecast is calling for 80% chance of possibly heavy Thunder showers and rain, and it is hot and humid here at the track. There were some heavy showers last night, so the track is already wet.
During the riders meeting, MX Sports official and referee Jeff Canfield gave everyone an updated schedule of practice and announced that there is only one practice session per class. This was done so that the track crew could have more prep time to clear off some of the mud. One thing is certain If it becomes a mudder, the race will be blown wide open and anyone could win.

I was listening to the internet AUDIO Broadcast of the 450 (Moto 2) class at Southwick 338 today and had just one question: is that Jason Weigant doing the co-commentating? If so, what the f#@% is up with his voice? Who's he trying to sound like? It's as though he's 'channeling' actor Tony Curtis (Now in his, what..., 80's?) doing a british accent that was so bad you couldn't even hear the british..., just really bad (over) enunciation. Good God, Jason- if that was you- Buddy, back it down a few notches and do it like you would if you were broadcasting on air for television with The Lil' Professor. If that wasn't Jason Weigant, "ALLI" loose this guy; he makes the audio broadcast absolutely horrible. You don't want to know how many times I almost threw-up in my sweet "Racer-X" hat!
