The MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour is a five-stop series within the King of Wake. At each stop on the Pro Tour, the world’s top pro riders will battle it out on the water for cash, points and pride by performing rail tricks and aerial stunts, while maneuvering on the water at a speed of approximately 25mph.

The MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour is a weekend-long carnival of water-sports action. But not all of the action takes place on the water. On land, fans will experience tons of great food and music, athlete autograph signings, chances to win freebies, and shopping at the most cutting-edge stores offering water-sports equipment including boats, wakeboards, wakeskates, sunglasses and the latest in wakeboarding and surfing fashions.

The MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour is a five-event series points race. Athletes are ranked according to total points earned throughout the five-event season. Following the conclusion of the final stop, the highest points-earner will claim the Tour title.

Athletes at each stop will compete in heats through a series of rounds, including qualifiers, quarterfinals, semifinals and finals with only the top-scoring athletes in each heat advancing onto the next round.

Each athlete is scored by a panel of five judges during their run. A run consists of one pass up and down the competition course with only two falls allowed. Athletes are judged on the difficulty, risk, intensity, variety and execution of the tricks performed during their run. In addition to an athlete’s wake tricks, athletes also need to use several pieces of apparatus, including an A-frame, transfer box and rooftop rail during the course of their run. A maximum of 100 points can be earned in an athlete’s run.
