Winter Dew Cup
Get a close up look at the Winter Dew hardware.

This December in the Rocky Mountains, the second season of Winter Dew Tour will kick off. The Tour consists of three stops throughout December, January and February at some of United States’ most epic resorts.
All right, here’s the skinny: the Winter Dew Tour consists of three events across the US:
Totino's Open, Breckenridge Ski Resort, Breckenridge, CO Dec. 17-21, 2009
Wenyd's Invitational, Ogden, UT Jan. 15-17, 2010
At each event there are a total of six competitions amongst men’s and women’s snowboarding and freeskiing in superpipe and slopestyle. Athletes who qualify into each event have the opportunity to compete and earn points at each stop. At the end of the season athletes will be ranked according to total points earned and the athlete in each discipline with the highest number of points snags the Winter Dew Cup and their piece of the 1.5 million dollar total prize purse. Not bad huh?
Check out the points breakdown per event below so you can tally the scores throughout the season and make your bet on the Dew Cup Champs for the season.

In each sport (SNB, SKI), athletes who qualify into each event (Slopestyle, Superpipe) receive points based on the Final results from that event. A maximum of 300 points may be earned per discipline across the Dew Tour season. At the conclusion of each event, riders are awarded points corresponding to their final placing - see chart below- and will be ranked on the current Winter Dew Tour Rankings.
Winter Dew Tour Rankings are the total of all points earned at each of the three Winter Dew Tour stops. At the conclusion of the third stop, the Toyota Championship at Mount Snow in West Dover, VT, the year-end Winter Dew Tour Rankings will be announced and the Winter Dew Cup Champions will be crowned.
