Latvia's Mattis Karro, the 2008 Junior World Champion, decided to come over to the states for the last round of the 2009 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Steel City. Coupled with a MVRD Suzuki, Karro went on to finish a very respectable 19th place his first visit in the US.

The criteriums were the return of night racing to American cycle racing after many years of absence. testking 642-661 The following is a clip of Danny's brilliant 1981 win over America's fastest crit racers. The clip starts with a few laps to go and Clark has made his move off the front. testking 70-553 He had just bridged across to a 2 man move containing Leonard Nitz (USA) and Alan McCormack (IRE). In the video he can be seen jumping away from these 2 towards the end. Brilliant stuff!
