Nike 6.0 introduced a street course at Dew Tour. The top three riders from last year’s X Games street contest each picked two guys to be on their team and each team had a few hours to film a video part on the street course with a filmer of their choice. Team 3 consisted of Garrett Reynolds, Dennis Enarson, and JJ Palmer

The Dew Tour announced today that Nike 6.0 is sponsoring the Chicago Dew Tour, which is BMX-only. On top of sponsoring the event, 6.0 is also adding a street contest in Chicago where the the top finishers from last year's street X Games (Garrett Reynolds, 70-642 Van Homan, and Sean Sexton) choose two teammates each plus a filmer, film a video part on the course, and then ride in a final jam. The jam and video scores are combined for the final score to get the winning team. Here's the official press release: 642-373 Burr Ridge, Ill. – May 6, 2009 – Marking a major sponsorship milestone, the Dew Tour announced today a multi-year deal with Nike 6.0, part of Nike’s action sports division, as the new event title sponsor of the BMX-specific stop of the Dew Tour. 642-515 Nike 6.0 will debut its new sponsorship role at the Nike 6.0 BMX Open in Chicago’s Grant Park, June 26-27, 2009, but will continue as an associate sponsor for the remaining 2009 Summer and Winter Dew Tour stops.
