Due to snow conditions, the superpipe event scheduled for Sunday, February 5th at Brighton Resort has been cancelled. Instead, the Gatorade Free Flow Tour will hold the final superpipe contest of the season before finals nearby at Snowbasin Resort on Wednesday, February 8th.
The contest comes just days before the Winter Dew Tour kicks off at Snowbasin, and competitors will have access to the same pipe that the pros will be competing in. Snowbasin is also the home of the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals this year, which will take place from February 10-12.
Saturday's slopestlye events at Brighton will go on as planned.
Registration for the superpipe contest at Snowbasin is available online now. Check-in will be at Earls Lodge from 11am-12pm the morning of the event, and the superpipe contests will run from 12-3pm.
Don't forget that winners will earn automatic entry into the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals. This will be your last chance to qualify for superpipe finals, so don't miss out!
